Verified records: January 2021–May 2026
We disclose measurable operational emissions
Cloudturing does not claim company-wide carbon neutrality. Instead, we aggregate and disclose annually the operational emissions that can be objectively verified, such as Google Cloud usage and office electricity consumption. After the KRX voluntary carbon market opens, we plan to compensate for at least the cumulative calculated emissions by retiring carbon credits.
Verified records: July 2025–May 2026
An indication of measurable emissions under recent operating conditions.
We start with emissions supported by objective records
The current scope covers Google Cloud Carbon Footprint and verified office electricity records. Rather than claiming to measure every emission source perfectly, we disclose verifiable operational emissions transparently and plan to address them through future retirement of carbon credits in an institutional market.
Office electricity emissions formula
Electricity use (kWh) × 0.4173 kgCO₂e/kWh ÷ 1000
The latest published consumption-based electricity emission factor is applied provisionally. Calculations may be adjusted retrospectively when official annual factors become available.
Google Cloud emissions
Based on the Google Cloud Carbon Footprint records currently verified.
| Year | Period | Emissions | Basis |

| 2023 | Full year | 3.12 tCO₂e | Google Cloud Carbon Footprint |
| 2024 | Full year | 3.44 tCO₂e | Google Cloud Carbon Footprint |
| 2025 | Full year | 4.29 tCO₂e | Google Cloud Carbon Footprint |
| 2026 | January–May | 1.02 tCO₂e | Google Cloud Carbon Footprint |
Office electricity consumption
Verified office electricity records aggregated by year.
| Year | Period | Electricity consumption | Emissions | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | July–December | 1,186 kWh | 0.495 tCO₂e | Verified office electricity records |
| 2026 | January–May | 1,178 kWh | 0.492 tCO₂e | Verified office electricity records |
Retirement is planned after the KRX voluntary carbon market opens
Carbon credit purchases and retirement have not yet taken place. Once the KRX voluntary carbon market opens and corporate purchase and retirement procedures become available, we plan to purchase credits covering at least 100% of cumulative calculated emissions and retire them in our company's name in the registry. The initial target is around 150%.
- Official minimum target
- At least 100% of cumulative calculated emissions
- Initial target
- Around 150% of cumulative calculated emissions
- Additional target
- Around 200%, where possible
- Market
- KRX voluntary carbon market
- Evidence
- Registry link or retirement number to be published after retirement
This page is not a company-wide carbon neutrality declaration
The current scope is limited to operational emissions that can be verified with objective records. Employee travel, manufacturing and use of personal equipment, external supply chains, electricity used by user devices, meals and personal activities are currently excluded.
- We do not claim that all company emissions have already been compensated for.
- Carbon credit purchases and retirement have not yet taken place.
- After retirement, we plan to publish the covered period, calculated emissions, retired volume, compensation ratio and evidence links.
Questions about operational emissions disclosure
Is this page a carbon neutrality declaration?
No. This page calculates and discloses operational emissions that can currently be objectively verified; it is not a company-wide carbon neutrality declaration.
Have carbon credits been retired yet?
Not yet. We are currently calculating and accumulating emissions. Once the KRX voluntary carbon market opens and corporate purchase and retirement procedures become available, we plan to purchase and retire credits covering at least the cumulative calculated emissions.
Why include only Google Cloud and office electricity?
These are emission sources for which we can currently obtain objective evidence. Google Cloud emissions use Google Cloud Carbon Footprint. Office electricity records are aggregated annually and converted using an electricity emission factor.
Why state both a minimum of 100% and a 150% target?
Actual prices, credit quality and liquidity in the KRX voluntary carbon market are not yet determined. Our official commitment is to compensate for at least 100% of cumulative calculated emissions, with an initial target of around 150%. We have an additional target of around 200%, where possible.
